Third Period


Heading into the final period with momentum on their side, Detroit added another goal to solidify their lead while maintaining defensive discipline against any attempts by Seattle to stage a comeback. The Kraken were unable to find any rhythm offensively in this period despite having several opportunities.


In terms of individual performances, Cam Talbot stood out between the pipes for Detroit with crucial saves that thwarted Seattle's attempts throughout the match. On offense, Emmitt Finnie continued his impressive form by finding ways past Seattle’s defense alongside Alex DeBrincat who provided key assists.
