First Period

The opening period saw the Isles take an early lead with two goals. The Winged Wheel struggled to find their rhythm, despite having more shots on goal than their opponents. John Gibson made several crucial saves for the Wings but couldn't prevent Max Shabanov from scoring for New York.

Second Period

In the second period, Detroit's defense was tested further as they conceded another two goals. Despite Moritz Seider's strong presence on defense with three hits and over 23 minutes of ice time, it wasn't enough to stop Calum Ritchie from extending New York's lead.

The final period saw a lone goal from the Isles sealing their victory. Dylan Larkin and his teammates were left searching for answers as they ended without scoring.
