Despite their efforts and superior shot count, goaltending proved pivotal with Vancouver's goalie making an impressive 42 saves from 45 shots - securing a save percentage of one hundred percent which played a significant role in their victory. Conversely, Edmonton's goaltender faced fewer shots but allowed four goals.


Leon Draisaitl stood out for his contributions to his team's offense with notable plays that earned him recognition among one of this game's top stars despite being on losing side.
