The first period saw no goals from the Panthers but they came back strong in the second period scoring twice. The team's shooting percentage was notable at nearly eight percent as they managed to net three goals out of their thirty-eight shots. Their powerplay unit capitalized on their single opportunity when they scored one goal during a thirty-five-second five-on-four advantage.

On defense, the Panthers' goaltender played a crucial role with thirty saves and an impressive save percentage close to ninety-four percent. This defensive effort was critical in securing their win despite being slightly outperformed in faceoffs won by the Kraken who had fifty-two percent success rate compared to the Panthers' forty-eight percent.

The Kraken put up a solid fight throughout all three periods and were particularly effective during even strength play where both their goals were scored. They also demonstrated resilience on defense with their goaltender making thirty-five saves and showing over ninety-two percent save efficiency.

Special teams played a significant role for both sides; however, it was ultimately Florida's ability to convert on powerplay that made the difference. Both teams spent minimal time shorthanded with only one minor penalty each resulting in two penalty minutes per side.

As for individual performances from Florida players, six assists were recorded which contributed to their total nine points earned throughout this encounter. Additionally, ten takeaways by Florida showcased their ability to regain possession and maintain pressure on Seattle.

Looking ahead for fans of the Florida Panthers is an away game against Boston Bruins scheduled for October 30th at TD Garden which will be broadcasted nationally on ESPN+ and locally on NESN channel 628 and BSFL channel 654 starting at 7:00 PM Eastern Time.
