Buffalo's goaltender faced thirty-seven shots and made thirty-four saves but ultimately recorded a loss for his team. Despite this setback, he showcased resilience especially while his team was shorthanded – denying all seven shots he faced when they were down a player due to penalties.


The Sabres' offense did manage to break through twice against Florida’s defense; once during regular play and another time capitalizing on one of their four power play chances with five shots taken during those opportunities.
