Kings to Clash with Sharks at SAP Center in San Jose

As the Los Angeles Kings prepare to face off against the San Jose Sharks at the SAP Center in San Jose, fans can anticipate an intense matchup. The Kings have been showing a mixed bag of results in their recent games, which could make for an unpredictable game.

In their last three outings, the Kings have experienced varying degrees of success. Their most recent game against the Seattle Kraken showcased their resilience as they secured a win through a shootout after tying 2-2 in regulation time. This victory was underpinned by solid goaltending and a strong performance during power plays.

However, this win followed a disappointing loss to the Winnipeg Jets where they were outscored 5-2. Despite winning more faceoffs and having more power play opportunities than the Jets, it wasn't enough to secure victory on home ice.

Earlier still, another loss came at Madison Square Garden against the New York Rangers with a score of 4-1. The Kings struggled with penalties throughout that game and were unable to capitalize on power play opportunities while also losing out on faceoff percentages.

The upcoming game presents an opportunity for redemption as well as consistency for Los Angeles. With their ability to bounce back from losses and fight until the final buzzer as seen in Seattle, fans should expect determination from their team. However, maintaining discipline will be crucial if they are to minimize penalties and maximize scoring chances.

The SAP Center is known for its energetic atmosphere which could influence both teams' performances; however, it's up to Los Angeles Kings players to harness that energy positively.

Fans can catch all of this action live on ESPN+ or Hulu when these two teams meet on December 20th at 3:30 AM UTC (December 19th at 7:30 PM Pacific Time).
