In an intense matchup at Crypto.com Arena, the Los Angeles Kings displayed a robust performance despite falling short against the Vegas Golden Knights. The home team opened the scoring in the first period with one goal but could not add to their tally in the second. They fought back valiantly in the third period by netting two additional goals. The defense was active as well blocking twenty-two attempts from reaching their goaltender and delivering twenty-three hits over three periods to try and contain their opponents' advances.


Conversely, The Golden Knights demonstrated strong offensive play by scoring four times from fifty-one attempts on goal resulting in nearly eight percent shooting accuracy. Their powerplay unit found success once out of five chances while also managing seven assists overall during playtime.


Their goalie made twenty-seven saves on thirty shots faced ending up with a ninety percent save rate and earning himself credit for his team's win.
