On defense, goaltender Filip Gustavsson had an impressive night between the pipes for Minnesota, saving 27 out of 30 shots on goal by Tampa Bay. His efforts were crucial in keeping his team ahead during critical moments of play.

Despite their loss, Tampa Bay showed resilience throughout the match. Their powerplay unit managed to capitalize on two opportunities out of four but couldn't overcome Minnesota's strong even-strength play where all five goals were scored by Minnesota against them.
