Several players made significant contributions despite Minnesota’s loss. Marcus Johansson assisted on Middleton’s goal and was active offensively with four shots on target during his ice time of 16:00 minutes. Brock Faber also added an assist to his season tally alongside Johansson in facilitating Middleton’s effort.


On special teams, both squads had opportunities to capitalize but struggled to convert powerplay chances into goals; Minnesota went scoreless in two powerplay attempts while managing ten shots during those opportunities.
