First Period


The first period set the tone for what would be a dominant display by the Wild. Minnesota came out strong, scoring three goals without allowing any response from Pittsburgh. Third Period


As both teams entered the third period, it was clear that Minnesota had control of the game. Although no additional goals were scored by either team in this final stretch, Filip Gustavsson’s goaltending ensured a shutout for Minnesota as he saved all 19 shots faced from Pittsburgh players.
