First Period


The opening period saw the Avalanche take an early lead with Nathan MacKinnon finding the back of the net. Despite being outshot by the Avs, Minnesota's defense held firm to prevent further damage.


Second Period


In response, the Wild came alive in the second period with Kirill Kaprizov scoring twice to put his team ahead. His performance was instrumental as he capitalized on opportunities created by teammates Mats Zuccarello and Ryan Hartman.

Third Period


The third period was tightly contested as both teams struggled to break through each other's defenses. Colorado managed to equalize late in regulation through a well-executed play but couldn't capitalize further.


Overtime and Shootout
