Amongst individual performances for Montreal Canadiens, Sam Montembeault stood out despite being credited with loss; he made an impressive total of 25 saves with a save percentage rounding up to an impeccable hundred percent under pressure. On offense and defense alike though struggling for goals, players like Kirby Dach led with physicality registering four hits throughout his ice time.


For Minnesota Wild, Matt Boldy was named one of the stars of the game contributing significantly towards his team's win alongside Filip Gustavsson who earned his shutout through remarkable goaltending skills.
