The Nashville Predators started off cautiously, maintaining a deadlock in the first period. However, they managed to break through in the second period scoring once and followed up with another goal in the third. The team's total shots amounted to 26, out of which two found their way past the opposing goaltender. Despite their efforts, their shooting percentage was just eight percent for this game.

On defense, Nashville's goaltender saved 28 out of 33 shots faced throughout the game, resulting in an eighty-five percent save rate. Unfortunately for them, four goals were conceded during even strength play and one while shorthanded.

The offensive line contributed as well; three assists were recorded by Nashville players who worked hard to create scoring opportunities against a tough Blues defense that blocked ten attempted shots from reaching their netminder.

The St. Louis Blues showcased strong gameplay on both ends of the rink. They capitalized on their powerplay advantage by converting one out of five opportunities into a goal and dominated faceoffs winning seventy-one percent compared to Nashville's twenty-nine percent success rate at faceoffs.

St. Louis' offense was more efficient than its counterpart’s; they scored five goals from thirty-three shots reflecting an impressive fifteen percent shooting accuracy which included four even-strength goals and one powerplay goal contributing to their victory over The Predators.
