The game was marked by an aggressive offense from the Nashville Predators, who managed to net five goals out of their 28 shots, boasting an impressive shooting percentage of nearly 18 percent. The home team's performance was bolstered by their ability to capitalize on powerplays, scoring one goal during their single opportunity. Their strength shone even while shorthanded, maintaining control and preventing any goals against them during these vulnerable moments.

The Los Angeles Kings put up a strong fight with three goals from their total of 34 shots. Despite this effort and securing one powerplay goal out of four chances, they fell short as they struggled to find the back of the net against Nashville's solid defense and goaltending. The Kings' shooting percentage stood at nearly nine percent for the game.

Nashville's goaltender played a crucial role in securing this win with an admirable save percentage just above 91 percent after facing 34 shots on goal. On the other side, Los Angeles' goalie ended up with a save rate around 82 percent from 28 shots faced.

The physicality on ice was palpable as both teams were relentless in their pursuit for puck control; however, it was Nashville who dominated in hits with a total count of 43 compared to Los Angeles' tally at 27 hits throughout the game.

As fans celebrate this victory for Nashville Predators, attention now turns towards their next challenge. They will be hosting Winnipeg Jets right here at Bridgestone Arena on January 24th starting at seven o'clock in the evening Central Time (CT). Fans can catch all live action through various broadcast networks including ESPN+ online or BSSO channel number six hundred forty-six dash one for local TV coverage and TSN3 for international viewers.
