Can the Nashville Predators Tame the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena?

As the Nashville Predators prepare to face off against the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena, fans are eagerly anticipating what promises to be an electrifying match-up. The Predators, coming off a recent victory against the New York Islanders on January 14th with a score of 3-1, have shown they can hold their own in high-pressure situations. That game saw them ramp up their offense in the third period, scoring all three goals and demonstrating a solid defensive performance with 24 saves.

The Predators' ability to turn up the heat when it counts is something that could serve them well against VGK. In their last encounter with another team from New York, they managed to keep hits high at 26 and blocked shots at 23 while maintaining an even strength throughout. Their powerplay opportunities were capitalized upon once out of three chances, showing room for improvement but also potential for damage against VGK's defense.

However, it's not just about offense; goaltending will be crucial in this upcoming game. The Predators' goalie showcased impressive skills with a save percentage rounding up to 100 percent during even strength play in their last game – a statistic that cannot be overlooked when considering how close these games can get.

On January 13th against Dallas Stars, NSH displayed an offensive masterclass by putting six past their opponents while only conceding three goals. This kind of firepower will surely put VGK on notice as they must find ways to contain NSH's attacking threats who seem capable of striking from anywhere on the ice.

But let’s not forget about discipline – penalties have been an issue for both teams in recent games. NSH had four penalties costing them precious minutes during their January 10th clash with Anaheim Ducks where they ultimately fell short by two points despite outshooting Ducks by nine attempts.

Looking ahead to January 15th’s game scheduled for a late puck drop at T-Mobile Arena, fans should expect NSH to come out strong and assertive as they aim for another win on this road trip. With ESPN+ providing internet coverage nationally and BSSO broadcasting TV coverage away alongside SCRIPPS covering home viewership needs – there are plenty of ways for fans not attending live to catch all action from what promises be another thrilling NHL showdown.

Remember: Monday night hockey awaits as Nashville looks continue its push towards playoff contention while Vegas aims defend its fortress starting at sharp 6:00 PM Eastern Time (3:00 PM local time). Don't miss it!
