Predators Set to Tangle with Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena

As the Nashville Predators gear up for their face-off against the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The Predators have been on a rollercoaster ride of performances lately, but there's reason to believe they could seize control in the upcoming game.

In their last encounter on March 6th against the Montreal Canadiens, NSH fell just short in overtime, ending with a score of 3-4. Despite this loss, there were positive takeaways: NSH demonstrated resilience by maintaining an even strength throughout and securing a faceoff win percentage of 54 percent. Their goaltending was solid with a save percentage rounding up to 100 percent. However, it's worth noting that they couldn't capitalize on powerplay opportunities and will need to sharpen their special teams play.

Comparatively, during their March 2nd game against the Colorado Avalanche, NSH showcased offensive prowess by netting five goals and winning by four points. Their shooting percentage stood out at an impressive 14 percent and they successfully converted two powerplay opportunities into goals.

The most dominant performance from NSH came on February 28th when they hosted the Minnesota Wild. They overwhelmed their opponents with six goals leading to a five-point victory margin while boasting a shooting percentage of nearly 20 percent – an indicator of high efficiency in front of goal.

The Seattle Kraken should not be underestimated though; as hosts, they'll have home-ice advantage which can be pivotal in hockey matchups. The Predators must leverage their recent experiences – both triumphs and setbacks – to refine strategies for success.

Looking ahead to March 17th's clash at Climate Pledge Arena set for an evening start time at around 7:00 PM local time (10:00 PM Eastern), fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+ or tune into BSSO or ROOT Sports NW for television broadcasts. With recent games indicating that Nashville has both firepower and defensive solidity when needed, this matchup promises excitement as each team vies for victory under Seattle’s roof.
