Predators Primed for Victory Over Sharks in Music City Showdown

The Nashville Predators are set to host the San Jose Sharks at Bridgestone Arena in what promises to be a riveting encounter. The Predators, coming off a strong performance against the Columbus Blue Jackets on March 9th, where they secured a win with a score of 2-1, look to continue their momentum.

In their last game, the Predators showcased an impressive offensive effort with 49 shots on goal and a shooting percentage of 4 percent. Their defense was equally formidable; they blocked 17 shots and won 60 percent of faceoffs. This level of play is indicative of a team that's firing on all cylinders both offensively and defensively.

The goaltending for Nashville has been nothing short of stellar. With an outstanding save percentage of 100 percent against Columbus, allowing only one goal out of the 33 shots faced, it's clear that the netminding will be crucial in their upcoming game against San Jose.

On the other hand, while San Jose has had its struggles this season, they cannot be underestimated. The Sharks will come into this game looking to disrupt Nashville's rhythm and secure an away victory. However, given Nashville’s recent form and home advantage at Bridgestone Arena where fans have witnessed their team’s tenacity firsthand – especially during their previous home game on March 8th against Buffalo Sabres which ended with an emphatic win scoring four goals from just twenty-four shots – it seems like an uphill battle for the visitors.

Special teams could play a significant role in this matchup as well. While Nashville didn't capitalize on powerplay opportunities in their last outing against Columbus (0 goals from three opportunities), they did exhibit proficiency during their March 8th clash with Buffalo by scoring two powerplay goals from three chances.

The scheduled match between these two teams is set for March 20th at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Fans eager to catch every moment can tune into ESPN+ online or watch via NBCS-CA or BSSO television networks at local time according to broadcast schedules. This is not just another game; it's another opportunity for the Predators to assert themselves as serious contenders this season while entertaining fans with high-caliber hockey action right in Music City.
