Game Highlights

The Predators opened the scoring in the first period but were unable to maintain their lead as the game progressed. Despite outshooting their opponents with 39 attempts to the Red Wings' 24, Nashville struggled to find the back of the net, converting only 5 percent of their shots into goals. The power play provided a glimmer of hope for Nashville, successfully capitalizing on one out of two opportunities.

On defense, goaltender Juuse Saros made an impressive effort with 19 saves on 22 shots during regular play but was ultimately let down by two empty-net goals towards the end of the game. His save percentage remained solid at one hundred percent across all strength situations.
