Despite a hard-fought game, the Predators were unable to secure any points against the Seattle Kraken, who emerged victorious with a 3-0 win. This victory improved the Kraken's record to 10-9-1.

Game Highlights


The game was marked by intense competition and strategic play from both teams. The Nashville Predators put up a strong defensive effort, blocking 13 shots and delivering 21 hits throughout the match. Their goaltender made an impressive 33 saves out of 36 shots faced, showcasing his skill despite the loss. However, their offense struggled to find its footing against a resilient Kraken defense; they took 24 shots but failed to convert any into goals.


On the other side of the ice, Seattle's strategy paid off in the second and third periods where they scored one and two goals respectively. Their winning goal was noted as a pivotal moment in their victory over Nashville. The Kraken also capitalized on their powerplay opportunities better than Nashville did; despite not scoring on them, they created more chances with four powerplays compared to Nashville's three.

Player Performances


Among individual performances for Nashville, Juuse Saros stood out with his goaltending efforts by saving all but three of the numerous shots he faced during even strength play and all shorthanded attempts against him. On offense though, players like Jonathan Marchessault attempted five shots on goal but were unable to break through Seattle's defense or goaltending.


For Seattle Kraken Chandler Stephenson was recognized as one of the stars of the game for his contribution which included being part of key plays that led to goals for his team.
