On defense, Juuse Saros was formidable between the pipes for Nashville, saving 23 out of 24 shots faced from Winnipeg. His performance underscored a solid defensive effort by Nashville that limited Winnipeg's scoring chances despite them firing off 24 shots throughout the game.


The Winnipeg Jets managed to find back net only once despite several attempts at goal during even strength play and power plays alike. Their lone goal came during even strength play but wasn't enough to mount a comeback against a determined Predators team.
