The game saw both teams putting up a strong fight from start to finish. The Nashville Predators opened the scoring in the first period but were unable to maintain their lead as the Vancouver Canucks answered back in each subsequent period. The Canucks' ability to capitalize on opportunities was evident as they scored once in each period and secured an empty net goal towards the end of the game.


Juuse Saros, goaltender for Nashville, showcased his skills between the pipes making 19 saves on 21 shots against him before an empty netter increased Vancouver's tally to three. His performance earned him one of the star selections of the game. On offense, Tommy Novak stood out for Nashville by scoring their lone goal on two shots, demonstrating efficiency and precision when it mattered most.

For Vancouver, Quinn Hughes played a pivotal role in their victory by contributing significantly from his defensive position which also earned him star honors for his efforts during this matchup.
