Filip Forsberg and Ryan O'Reilly were standout performers for Nashville. Forsberg scored once from four shots with a shooting percentage of 25 percent and played an instrumental role in turning the tide for his team. O'Reilly contributed significantly with one goal and one assist, marking two points on three shots with a shooting percentage of 33 percent.

On defense, Juuse Saros was exceptional between the pipes for Nashville, making 39 saves on 42 shots faced. His performance ensured that Nashville stayed competitive throughout regulation time and into overtime.

Despite falling short in the shootout where they failed to score against Nashville's three attempts by saving only two out of three shots faced during this decisive phase, Utah Hockey Club put up a strong fight. They matched Nashville's intensity throughout regulation time but couldn't capitalize on two powerplay opportunities provided to them.

Josh Doan stood out for Utah with his performance by contributing one goal during regular play which earned him recognition as one of the game stars alongside Forsberg and O'Reilly from Nashville.
