The game kicked off with both teams eager to establish dominance on the ice. The Blues took an early lead with two goals in this period, setting a challenging pace for the visiting team. Despite their efforts, Nashville struggled to find their rhythm and ended the period scoreless.

Third Period

The final period saw increased intensity from both sides as Nashville sought to close the gap. A shorthanded goal by Erik Haula brought hope for the visitors and showcased his skillful play under pressure. However, despite another goal from Fedor Svechkov later in this period, it wasn't enough as Pavel Buchnevich's performance helped secure victory for St. Louis with his pivotal contributions throughout the match.

Overall, Nashville's goaltender Juuse Saros made 17 saves but couldn't prevent all three goals against him during regulation time.
