New Jersey Devils Seek Redemption Against Arizona Coyotes at Mullett Arena

As the New Jersey Devils prepare to face off against the Arizona Coyotes at Mullett Arena, fans are anticipating a game where the Devils will be looking to bounce back from recent performances. The upcoming matchup, scheduled for March 16th, promises to be an intriguing encounter as both teams strive for victory.

The Devils have had a mixed bag of results in their last few outings. After a commanding 7-2 win over the San Jose Sharks, where they dominated with a shooting percentage of 16 percent and won 55 percent of faceoffs, they've hit a rough patch. They suffered consecutive losses against the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings, with their shooting accuracy dropping to 6 percent against the Ducks despite taking an impressive 55 shots on goal. The team's penalty kill remained strong; however, their powerplay opportunities didn't translate into goals during these games.

Defensively, there's room for improvement as well. The Devils allowed four goals in each of their last two games while managing only one even-strength goal themselves in their latest outing against the Kings. This is something they'll need to tighten up when they play at Mullett Arena—a venue that could influence play due to its unique characteristics and atmosphere.

The Coyotes will not make it easy for them; playing at home always provides an edge. However, if New Jersey can channel the form that saw them score seven past San Jose and capitalize on powerplay chances while maintaining discipline on defense, they stand a good chance of coming away with a win.

Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+ or tune into MSGSN or SCRIPPS networks on March 16th at Mullett Arena in Tempe, AZ. Puck drop is set for what promises to be an exciting game as both teams vie for supremacy on ice.
