Devils Seek Redemption Against Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center

As the New Jersey Devils prepare to face off against the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center, fans are eager to see if their team can bounce back from recent performances. The Devils have had a mixed bag of results in their past few games, with a notable victory followed by two consecutive losses.

In their most recent game against the Vegas Golden Knights, the Devils were edged out with a final score of 3-1. Despite a solid goaltending performance that saw them save 34 out of 36 shots on goal, they struggled to find the back of the net themselves. Their shooting percentage was a mere five percent and they failed to capitalize on two powerplay opportunities.

The game prior presented similar challenges for New Jersey as they faced off against the Arizona Coyotes. The Devils managed only one goal from an impressive 38 shots, reflecting a shooting percentage of just three percent. Again, powerplays did not translate into goals and they suffered another loss with a final scoreline reading 4-1.

However, looking further back provides some hope for fans as New Jersey showcased an explosive offense against the Dallas Stars with six goals from just 20 shots – an exceptional thirty percent shooting accuracy. This victory demonstrated what the team is capable of when firing on all cylinders.

The upcoming game in Buffalo presents an opportunity for redemption and it's crucial that New Jersey capitalizes on this chance. They will need to improve their powerplay efficiency and convert more opportunities into goals if they wish to secure a win away from home.

Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+, MSG-B or MSGSN when these two teams clash at KeyBank Center in Buffalo on March 29th at 7:00 PM ET.
