Will the New Jersey Devils Glide Past the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center?

As the New Jersey Devils prepare to face off against the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center, fans are eager to see if their team can maintain their recent momentum. The upcoming game on April 13th promises to be a thrilling encounter, with both teams looking to assert dominance.

The Devils have shown remarkable resilience and strategy in their past games. On March 24th against the New York Islanders, they secured a convincing 4-0 victory, showcasing a strong shorthanded performance and an impressive goaltending display that left no room for error. The team's penalty kill was particularly notable, as they successfully neutralized all powerplay opportunities against them.

Following this shutout win, NJ faced a tougher challenge against the Toronto Maple Leafs on March 26th. Despite being outshot 45-25, they emerged victorious with a high-scoring 6-3 win. Their shooting percentage was an astonishing 24 percent that night – an indicator of their clinical finishing ability.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for NJ; in their most recent game on March 29th versus the Buffalo Sabres, they suffered a narrow defeat despite putting up solid numbers in faceoffs won (66 percent) and blocked shots (12). The Devils' even-strength play yielded two goals from thirty shots but ultimately fell short as they conceded five goals overall.

The Flyers will need to be wary of NJ's ability to bounce back from setbacks and capitalize on scoring opportunities. With both teams demonstrating even strength in previous encounters and NJ showing superior faceoff prowess recently – winning over half of their draws – it could very well come down to special teams play or which side can better leverage its strengths during critical moments.

Looking ahead at what might unfold at Wells Fargo Center, one can expect NJ's tenacity and strategic gameplay to pose significant challenges for PHI. If history is any indication, fans should anticipate another intense battle where every shift could tip the scales.

Devils enthusiasts should mark their calendars for April 13th when these two rivals clash once again. The puck drops at 9:00 PM ET in Philadelphia; fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+ via internet streaming or tune into NBCS-PH or MSGSN for television coverage.
