Devils Freeze Sabres with Allen's Perfect Save Streak and Gritsyuk's Double Strike

First Period


The opening period saw a strong start from both teams, but it was Arseny Gritsyuk who broke through for the Devils with a goal. The Devs capitalized on their opportunities despite being outshot by the Swords, setting an early tone for their offensive strategy.

In the second period, Jake Allen continued his stellar performance in goal for New Jersey. Third Period


The final period was where the Devs truly shined. Arseny Gritsyuk scored his second goal of the game, further extending their lead. Nico Hischier and Brenden Dillon also found themselves on the scoresheet as they contributed goals that sealed Buffalo’s fate. Jake Allen remained impenetrable throughout all three periods, finishing with a perfect save percentage against 42 shots.
