Third Period


In the final period, New Jersey found some momentum through Luke Hughes' efforts as he netted their sole goal during a powerplay opportunity. His performance was supported by Dougie Hamilton and Jack Hughes who each contributed an assist. Yet it was not enough to overcome Evgeni Malkin's brilliance for Pittsburgh; his contributions were pivotal in maintaining their lead and securing victory.
