Game Highlights

The game began with the Oilers taking an early lead in the first period by scoring two goals. The Rangers tried to fight back in the second period with one goal but were matched by another two from the Oilers. In a final attempt to close the gap, the Rangers managed another goal in the third period; however, it was not enough to overcome two more goals from Edmonton.

Artemi Panarin stood out for New York with two goals on six shots, demonstrating his critical role in their offense. Despite his efforts and Adam Fox's assist contributing to one of Panarin's goals, it was not enough to secure a win for New York. On defense and between the pipes, Jonathan Quick faced a barrage of 40 shots from Edmonton and managed to save 34. His performance highlighted both his resilience and areas where New York struggled defensively.
