First Period


The game began with promise for the Rangers as Noah Laba scored an early goal, assisted by Vladislav Gavrikov and Will Cuylle. Calgary took control in this final stretch of play. Nazem Kadri added another point for his team while Dustin Wolf's goaltending proved impenetrable against New York’s attempts. Igor Shesterkin made some crucial saves but ultimately allowed five goals from thirty shots faced.
