New York Rangers Fall to Philadelphia Flyers in Overtime at Madison Square Garden

First Period

Third Period


As tension mounted in the third period, Sam Carrick stepped up for New York by scoring another crucial goal. However, Matvei Michkov quickly answered back for Philadelphia, leveling things once more and setting up an intense finish to regulation time.


Overtime


The New York Rangers vs Philadelphia Flyers turning point came during overtime when Michkov struck again, securing victory for Philadelphia. Despite Igor Shesterkin's commendable performance with 21 saves throughout regulation and overtime combined, it wasn't enough to fend off this final push from their opponents.
