Will the Ottawa Senators Ice a Victory at TD Garden Against the Bruins?

As the Ottawa Senators prepare to face off against the Boston Bruins at TD Garden, fans are eager to see if their team can continue their recent trend of success. The Senators have shown a robust performance in their past few games, which could be an indicator of what's to come in this matchup.

In their last game against the Winnipeg Jets, the Senators secured a win with 3 points and demonstrated strong defensive play with 30 hits and 20 blocked shots. Their goaltending was impeccable, saving all but two shots out of 30. The powerplay opportunities were capitalized upon once out of five chances, showing room for improvement but still contributing to their victory.

Prior to that game, they faced off against the Chicago Blackhawks at home and emerged victorious with a solid defense that allowed no goals on 19 shots. They dominated faceoffs with a winning percentage of 61 percent and took advantage of even-strength situations by scoring both goals during regular play.

The most impressive display came from their encounter with the Buffalo Sabres where they notched an overwhelming six points. Their offense was on fire, taking an impressive total of 42 shots and converting six into goals for a shooting percentage of fourteen percent. They also showed discipline by only giving away possession twice throughout this high-scoring affair.

These statistics suggest that while Ottawa has been strong defensively, there is potential for more explosive offensive plays as seen in Buffalo. However, consistency in powerplay execution remains an area where they could gain an edge over opponents like Boston.
