Amongst individual performances from Ottawa Senators players, Brady Tkachuk stood out despite the loss. Tkachuk assisted on Stutzle's goal and showed his physical presence by delivering two hits during his time on ice which amounted to over eighteen minutes. On defense, Jake Sanderson played impressively with over twenty-seven minutes of ice time contributing defensively but also taking part actively in offensive plays though without registering points.

Linus Ullmark faced a tough night between the posts for Ottawa making twenty-two saves against twenty-six shots which reflects his resilience despite conceding four goals.


On Montreal's side, Cole Caufield shined brightly being named one of the stars of the game thanks to his impactful performance that helped steer his team towards victory.
