Key Moments and Performances

The game's decisive moments came down to goaltending and power play opportunities. The Senators' goalie Linus Ullmark made an impressive total of 16 saves from 18 shots against him. However, it was Igor Shesterkin of the Rangers who stole the spotlight with an outstanding performance by saving 40 out of 41 shots, earning him the first star of the game.
