The Carolina Hurricanes took control early on, scoring once in the first period and maintaining their lead by adding another goal in the second. Their dominance was further cemented with two additional goals in the third period. The Hurricanes capitalized on their power play opportunities, scoring twice out of five chances, showcasing their special teams' efficiency.
