On defense, Artem Zub contributed significantly with one assist and maintaining a plus-minus rating of +1 throughout his ice time which spanned over 25 minutes. Brady Tkachuk also made significant contributions by scoring once out of four shots on goal and maintaining a plus-minus rating of +2.


Opposition Performance


The Utah Hockey Club showed persistence throughout but struggled against Ottawa's tight defense and goaltending prowess. They managed to put up 35 shots on goal but were only able to convert one into scoring due to Merilainen’s outstanding performance between the posts for Ottawa. Their lone goal came during even strength play in the second period which momentarily leveled them with Ottawa before succumbing in subsequent periods.
