Linus Ullmark was undoubtedly the star of the game for the Ottawa Senators, showcasing an exceptional performance between the pipes with 31 saves on 32 shots, maintaining a perfect save percentage throughout. His efforts were critical in securing this narrow victory for his team. Ridly Greig also made significant contributions with two assists, playing a pivotal role in both of Ottawa's goals. His playmaking ability was on full display, earning him one of the game's star selections.


Defensively, Jake Sanderson and Shane Pinto stood out for their contributions. Sanderson scored one of Ottawa’s goals and had an impressive time on ice of over 25 minutes, demonstrating his importance to the team's defensive unit. Pinto added to Ottawa’s scoreline as well, converting one of his two shots into a goal which proved crucial in securing their win.

Despite falling short against Ottawa Senators at Canadian Tire Centre, Tampa Bay Lightning displayed resilience throughout the match. Their lone goal came during even strength play in the second period but wasn't enough to overcome Ottawa’s defense and goaltending.
