First Period


The game commenced with both teams eager to establish dominance. The Senators managed to score once during this period, showcasing their potential early on. Third Period


In the final stretch of play, Ottawa managed another goal but continued facing challenges from a relentless Panther offense that added two more goals to seal their victory. Linus Ullmark made commendable saves throughout but faced difficulty against Florida’s powerplay prowess which accounted for three of their six goals.


The standout performance came from Aaron Ekblad of the Cats who demonstrated defensive excellence and contributed significantly to his team's success alongside Brad Marchand and Anton Lundell who were pivotal in securing this win for Florida.
