Third Period


Ottawa rallied back in the third period when Claude Giroux scored his second point of the night by netting a crucial goal that tied up the game. Giroux's performance was notable as he also contributed an assist earlier in play.


Overtime


As overtime commenced, both teams fought hard for control but it was ultimately Pavel Zacha of Boston who secured victory for his team with an impressive winning goal.
