First Period


The first period saw both teams testing each other's defenses with no goals scored by either side. The Senators displayed solid defensive play, with Thomas Chabot leading by example on the ice. Despite several attempts from both teams, goaltenders Leevi Merilainen for the Sens and his counterpart for the Caps kept their nets secure.


Second Period

Third Period


The third period was a thrilling display of skill as both teams fought hard until the end. The Capitals managed to score twice but were unable to overcome Ottawa's lead established earlier in the game. Thomas Chabot continued his impressive performance with crucial defensive plays that thwarted several Washington attacks.
