Can the Philadelphia Flyers Dominate the Arizona Coyotes at Wells Fargo Center?

As the Philadelphia Flyers gear up to face off against the Arizona Coyotes, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be an electrifying game at Wells Fargo Center. The Flyers, coming off a series of games that have showcased their strengths and weaknesses, are poised to take on a challenge that could solidify their standing or expose lingering issues.

In their recent clash on December 23 against the Detroit Red Wings, despite a high-scoring affair that ended in a shootout loss with 6 points scored by each team, it was evident that there's room for improvement. The Flyers' offense was firing on all cylinders as they peppered the Red Wings with 43 shots and managed to convert those into 6 goals. However, their defense allowed just as many goals in return. This high-scoring game highlighted both an aggressive offensive strategy and defensive vulnerabilities.

The powerplay opportunities were not fully capitalized upon by the Flyers during this game; they had two chances but failed to score on either. On a positive note, even strength play was where they shone brightly, scoring all six of their goals during regular play time.

Looking back at another recent performance against Nashville Predators on December 22nd paints a different picture; one where offense struggled significantly more than defense. Scoring only two goals from 31 shots indicates an area of concern when it comes to converting opportunities into points. However defensively speaking, they held up better than in previous games allowing only three goals.

One key aspect for upcoming games will be how well Philadelphia can maintain puck possession and win faceoffs – areas where they've shown inconsistency recently. Against Nashville Predators they won less than half of their faceoffs which could have contributed to fewer scoring chances.

The upcoming match is not just about rectifying past mistakes but also about building momentum moving forward in the season. The Arizona Coyotes may not have been top performers this season but any NHL team has potential to surprise; therefore underestimating them would be unwise for PHI.

For fans looking forward to seeing if PHI can turn around recent inconsistencies and dominate ARI at home – mark your calendars for February 13th when these teams will battle it out at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia PA (zip code:19148). You can catch all action live starting from midnight Eastern Time via ESPN+ online or NBCS-PH TV network locally or SCRIPPS TV network if you're cheering from away territory.
