Will the Flyers Overcome Recent Struggles Against Blackhawks at Wells Fargo Center?

As the Philadelphia Flyers prepare to host the Chicago Blackhawks at Wells Fargo Center, fans are eager to see if their team can bounce back from recent performances. The Flyers have shown a mixed bag in their last few outings, with a notable victory against the San Jose Sharks but also facing setbacks against formidable opponents like the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Flyers' even-strength play has been a point of concern; they failed to score during even-strength situations against Toronto and conceded six goals. However, they showed resilience by netting two even-strength goals in their win over San Jose. Their powerplay opportunities have seen some success with a conversion in each of the past three games, but there is room for improvement.

Defensively, Philadelphia's goaltending has been solid with save percentages rounding up to 100 percent across all strengths in two out of three games. Yet, this hasn't always translated into wins due to offensive struggles at crucial moments.

Faceoffs have been another area where consistency is needed; while they dominated against San Jose with a 67 percent win rate on faceoffs, this dropped significantly in other matchups. The physicality remains high as evidenced by consistently delivering over 30 hits per game.

The upcoming game presents an opportunity for the Flyers to refine these aspects of their game and leverage home advantage at Wells Fargo Center—a venue known for its passionate fan support which could provide an extra boost.

Fans can catch all the action on March 30th when these two teams face off. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN+ online as well as NBCS-CHI and NBCS-PH on TV starting at 7:00 PM EDT (Eastern Daylight Time).
