Flyers Soar in Shootout Showdown Against Bruins at TD Garden

First Period


The opening period saw both teams locked in a defensive battle, with neither side managing to find the back of the net. The Flyers showcased their physicality early on, delivering 31 hits throughout the game compared to Boston's 29.


Second Period


Action picked up in the second period as Philadelphia's offense came alive. Tyson Foerster and Noah Cates each scored for the Broad Street Bullies, giving them a temporary lead. Foerster's goal was assisted by Bobby Brink, who played an instrumental role throughout this matchup.

Third Period


Boston responded in kind during the third period with goals from Morgan Geekie and Sean Kuraly leveling things up for the B’s. Despite being outshot by Boston (15 shots), Philadelphia managed to maintain composure defensively thanks to goaltender Daniel Vladar’s impressive performance between pipes—recording saves on all but two attempts faced.


Overtime and Shootout


Neither team could break through during overtime play; however it was ultimately decided via shootout where Trevor Zegras clinched victory for Philly after converting his attempt while Vladar denied all three attempts from opposing shooters—securing crucial points away from home turf!
