The game remained scoreless through the first period as both teams showcased their defensive strengths. Player Performances


Other notable performances included Cody Glass and Matt Grzelcyk each providing an assist that helped bolster Pittsburgh's offense during critical moments of play. Rickard Rakell also made significant contributions despite not scoring; his aggressive play resulted in four hits and six shots on goal which kept pressure on Anaheim's defense throughout.


On defense, Marcus Pettersson played an integral role by maintaining possession and contributing defensively over nearly 24 minutes of ice time - showcasing stamina and skill that helped keep Anaheim at bay.
