Penguins' Performance


The Penguins managed to score only once during the game, with Rickard Rakell finding the back of the net on a power play opportunity. Despite having three power play chances, Pittsburgh converted just one goal from two shots. The team's overall shooting percentage stood at 4 percent, reflecting their struggle to capitalize on scoring opportunities.


Tristan Jarry was solid in goal for Pittsburgh, making 28 saves out of 32 shots faced. However, he conceded three goals during even strength play and one empty-netter towards the end of regulation time. On defense, Kris Letang contributed significantly with five hits and one takeaway over his time on ice.

Bruins' Dominance


Boston's Elias Lindholm led his team by scoring twice and assisting once more throughout their victory over Pittsburgh. David Pastrnak also made an impact by adding another goal for Boston while contributing an assist as well.


The Bruins displayed efficiency in front of goal; they scored four times from thirty-two attempts resulting in twelve percent shooting accuracy compared to that achieved by their opponents who struggled offensively throughout much of this encounter despite having similar shot totals (24).
