First Period


The game began with both teams displaying strong offensive plays. The Pens took an early lead with Sidney Crosby scoring a goal, assisted by Evgeni Malkin. This set the tone for an intense matchup as Columbus responded with a goal from Danton Heinen.


Second Period

Third Period


The final period of regulation saw increased intensity from both sides. Rickard Rakell found the back of the net for Pittsburgh, leveling up after Columbus had taken a lead through two goals scored earlier in quick succession by their forwards.
