On defense and offense alike, several Sharks players stepped up; Barclay Goodrow scored once from just two shots showing efficiency when it mattered most while Jake Walman assisted once proving vital in setting up scoring opportunities.


The game saw intense moments including power plays where San Jose managed to score once out of two opportunities showcasing their potential advantage situations but struggled in faceoffs winning only 42 percent compared to Blues' more dominant performance at faceoffs circle.
