Game Highlights

Carolina's Counterattack


The Carolina Hurricanes responded robustly in the third period by netting two goals which ultimately sealed their victory. Their offensive efforts were supported by solid goaltending that saw them make 21 saves from San Jose's attempts. The home team leveraged its even-strength play effectively as all three goals came during such situations.


Jalen Chatfield stood out for Carolina being named one of the stars of the game alongside teammates Brent Burns and Shayne Gostisbehere who contributed significantly to both offense and defense.
