Game Highlights

The game was intense from start to finish. The Sharks managed to net one goal in the first period but couldn't maintain their momentum into the second period where they failed to score. They found their way back onto the scoreboard in the third period with another goal. However, it wasn't enough to surpass the Flames who scored once in each period.

Tyler Toffoli stood out for San Jose by contributing significantly with one goal and one assist. His performance was notable for its efficiency; he achieved a shooting percentage of 33 percent and ended up with a plus-minus rating of +2. Toffoli's efforts were supported by Shakir Mukhamadullin and Jake Walman, both defenders assisting on goals which underscored their offensive contributions from behind.

On defense and between the pipes, goaltender Alexandar Georgiev made an impressive total of 33 saves but ultimately recorded a loss. His efforts included stopping all shorthanded shots faced among his overall tally.

Looking at Calgary Flames

The Flames showcased their strength on power plays by capitalizing on one out of six opportunities which proved crucial in their victory over San Jose. Nazem Kadri emerged as one of Calgary's key players by earning himself star recognition through scoring pivotal goals that contributed directly to his team's success.

Calgary also demonstrated solid defensive play throughout the match as evidenced by blocking 20 shots aimed at their net and winning critical faceoffs especially during power plays where they had a win percentage of 69 percent.
