First Period

Second Period


As the second period unfolded, both teams tightened their defenses significantly. Despite several powerplay opportunities for both sides, neither team managed to score. The Sharks maintained their lead but faced increased pressure from an energized Oilers squad determined to close the gap.


Third Period


The third period saw a dramatic shift as Edmonton's offense came alive. The Oilers scored 3 unanswered goals to level the playing field by capitalizing on defensive lapses from San Jose. Overtime


In overtime, it was anyone's game as both teams battled fiercely for control of the puck. However, it was Evan Bouchard who sealed victory for Edmonton with a decisive goal that left Yaroslav Askarov unable to respond in time.


Despite this setback in overtime with a final score of 4-3 favoring Edmonton, San Jose displayed commendable effort throughout most of regulation play but ultimately fell short against an equally determined opponent.
